"A few years ago I was having one of those moments of serenity and stealth where I was reflecting on the direction of my life, and I asked myself a question, “When do you feel most happy?”
The answer was clear. Second to cooking and spending time with loved ones, my favorite thing to do in life, the thing that makes me feel the most happiness is making art, making spaces beautiful and creating beautiful visual stories.
So I thought to myself, what if I could create a space to share that with the world? What if I could pursue this passion that I have developed over the years and make profit out of it?
The answer led me to creating Senzi Corporation and the deep gut truth is this, it feels very purpose-driven, like I was called to show up here on this earth, in this way, in this space."

1. Hard work pays off in the long run.
2. Human kindness exists in spades and that is enough to fend off harshness when you focus on it.
3. Self love is as quiet as it is loud - meaning that some days it looks like celebration and other times a long hug and a quiet song.
4. I can rely on myself to get through anything - but sometimes the battle is much easier won with loved ones by your side.
5. It is okay to say what you mean - that the truth really will set you free.
6. In the face of adversity and difficulty, sometimes it is enough to laugh - because you do not have to take everything so seriously!
7. Happiness is found in the most obvious places. That very often, you do not need to go far away to search for it. Happiness is simply in those closest to you - like family, or a loved one, or friends or in the things that you love - like writing or designing, long walks, reading, cooking, or anything you wish.
True joy is in understanding yourself and understanding what brings you happiness.

Senzi Dlamini recently resigned from her job to focus on her business on a fulltime basis. Over the past decade she has garnered inspiration and a wealth of knowledge whilst working for some of the most affluent Design houses in South Africa.
